I thought an app like Bad Human, No! probably already existed as I was formulating my treatment plan for ‘Angie’ a ten year old Rottweiler Mix whose owner had accidentally poisoned her with Aleve. Fortunately for ‘Angie’ her human called my office and asked if this was safe, AFTER he had given her the drug. ‘Angie’ suffers from arthritis and he had run out of her prescription medication. He thought, “I take Aleve, I’ll give it to ‘Angie’.

Once he had rushed her down to my veterinary hospital we were able to circumvent kidney failure with aggressive treatment. 

We could not prevent the bleeding ulcer; but were able to treat it and ‘Angie’ made a full recovery. 

This incident very easily could have gone the other way. 

That is when I searched for an app that I could recommend to my clients as a preventative resource. 

There are vast quantities of data on the web. I found no one place, however, that dispensed the information that 

I thought would help my patient and clients in a fast, effective manner.

Thus VetProtect was born!
